I don't really know how I came across this challenge, but I was blog reading the other morning and discovered it.. now, I always like clean and simple cards but I often think that they're not really upto much.
How do you feel about them?
Anyway.. I gave it a go, and here's my card for today.
The challenge was to focus on the sentiment. So, as the card was embossed white on white, I stamped the greeting in pink to make a contrast. **whoops.. just reread it and it should be one layer - need to try again!**
The card is showing a bit blue today, it must be the light... Slightly overcast and really, not all that nice at all!
Right.. I must make a move and get started on my quilling. See ya soon !

ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful card...even if it is more than one layer. Just think...now you can make another card. You'll soon find these challenges at LIM a bit addictive! LOL!

ReplyDeleteIm so sorry to say that as this is one layer week, we require just that 'one layer' the card base. If you see on our guidelines, minimal embellishments are allowed but not layers stuck on the base of the card.
this would be ok for any other week
